in the world of air-handling and heating technology. As a member
of Centrotec Sustainable AG, Brilon, Wolf looks back proudly on
more than thirty years of steady growth. Founded in 1963, Wolf
was initially a specialised on supplying drying systems for the
hops-processing industry. It was 1973 that the company first began
producing air-handling equipment. By 1981 Wolf had become a market
leader for air handling units and was manufacturing heating boilers.
The product range expanded steadily over successive years.
- 1963 Wolf was found with 80 employees, producing
hop drying systems
- 1970 Wolf joined the Salzgitter group
- 1973 Started producing air-handling units
- 1975 Wolf started producing ventilation systems
- 1981
Wolf started producing heating systems and became
the market leader of air-handling units
in Europe
- 1989 Salzgitter merged with Preussag: Wolf became a subsidiary
of Preussag AG
- 1994 Wolf started producing wall mounted gas
boilers and was one of Germany's market leaders
- 1996 Wolf started supplying solar systems;
production of KG-Gigant air handling
units
- 1997 Wolf started using condensing technology
- 1999 Launching of the TopOne design boiler
- 2000 Production of TLH/THL-D fans
- 2001 Launching of the new ComfortLine boiler series, solid
fuel boilers and TopWIng TLHK unit heaters
- 2002 Wolf expanded its product range by adding
photovoltaic systems, stratification storage
tanks, smoke extract fans,
warm air curtains
and air-handling units with integrated refrigeration technology.
Preussag changed its name into TUI: Wolf became subsidiary
of the tour operator group
- 2003 The CGB gas-fired condensing
boiler, the CGS gas-fired condensing central
plant and the TopOne TOK oil condensing were
sucessfully
launched on the market. Other new products including
the MK-2 commercial boiler, the DigiPro control
system for KG ceiling
